This was a Honeymoon in Heaven!!
From the moment we arrived, it felt like home...pulling in the gravel drive, and walking up to the screened-in porch while music played from the parlor. Freddy was the best host ever, and he and Roberta made a fabulous morning breakfast team.
We were graciously offered numerous complimentary amenities...from beach towels, to bicycles...to all the wine, beer, and spirits we could imagine (plus water, or soft drinks if we preferred). On top of it all there was no shortage of recommendations if we weren't sure what to do (it was our first time to Cape Cod).
We awoke every morning to delicious goodies on the porch, and then a full breakfast in the dining room...we rarely needed lunch because breakfast was divine and filling. Some evenings we'd return and find a note inviting us for wine and cheese...or perhaps a Lobster bisque. It was the most wonderful thing ever.
In addition to our lovely room, we enjoyed the hot tub and the beautifully landscaped garden...roses and lilies...and much more. Just so peaceful and quickly accessible to the whole cape.
We stayed here for 10 days...it was our honeymoon, and boy was it ever a vacation from heaven. We missed it from the moment we left, and we definitely plan to return. If we could visit throughout the year we would. Honeysuckle Hill has a place in our hearts.
